The XR series studded reducer flange is an ultra-compact piping component engineered for direct transitions between nominal pipe sizes where space constraints prevent the installation of standard concentric tapered reducers. Manufactured from premium ductile iron grade EN-GJS-500-7, this robust fitting provides outstanding mechanical tensile strength, structural rigidity, and resistance to water hammer shock within municipal drinking water supply, industrial utility networks, and pump station piping manifolds.

Featuring integrated carbon steel threaded studs hot-dip galvanized for long-term atmospheric and galvanic corrosion protection, the XR reducer allows fast and secure bolting directly between dissimilar mating flange dimensions. The dual-drilling design conforms to standard EN 1092-2 bolt hole patterns for PN10 and PN16 ratings, ensuring reliable alignment and bolt clamping torque across the entire diameter span from DN 65-50 up to DN 600-400.

Corrosion protection is achieved through an electrostatically applied, high-adhesion powder epoxy coating with a minimum layer thickness of 250 µm. This smooth, WRAS-approved blue epoxy barrier prevents internal tuberculation, chemical degradation, and mineral scale build-up, maintaining full hydraulic capacity and ensuring complete compliance with hygienic standards for potable water transport across an operating temperature range of 0 degrees C to +80 degrees C at a maximum working pressure of PN16 (16 bar).
