Engineered from decarburised annealed whiteheart malleable cast iron grade EN-GJMW-400-5 pursuant to EN 1562 and conforming to Design Symbol A under EN 10242 and ISO 49, the component delivers outstanding structural ductility, pressure containment, and mechanical shock resistance. Both connection ports are precision-machined with Rp parallel internal jointing threads complying with EN 10226-1 and ISO 7-1, achieving a dependable, pressure-tight metallic engagement when paired with taper external pipe threads and approved thread sealants. The short-radius D1 profile offers a distinct spatial advantage over long sweep variants, permitting 90-degree pipeline redirection within constrained plant layouts, service shafts, and skid manifolds without sacrificing hydrodynamic efficiency or mechanical integrity under operational vibration. Designed for demanding thermal and mechanical regimes, the fitting exhibits an allowable working pressure of 25 bar across fluid temperatures from minus 20 degrees Celsius to 120 degrees Celsius, maintaining certified integrity up to 20 bar at 300 degrees Celsius through linear interpolation.
