Industrial Pipes Solvent Cement PVC-U PN6-PN16
Metric industrial PVC-U pipes manufactured by Georg Fischer are designed for solvent cement jointing in pressure piping systems. Available in standard dark grey RAL 7011 and transparent versions, these unplasticised polyvinyl chloride pipes ensure reliable fluid conveyance across water treatment plants and chemical process installations.
Technical characteristics
Engineered to DIN 8061 and DIN 8062 standards, the metric pipe range offers robust performance under demanding industrial conditions:
- Nominal pressure ratings from PN6 up to PN16 (SDR 34.4 to SDR 9 and SDR 13.6)
- Outer diameter range from d6 mm to d400 mm with plain spigot ends
- Standard supply lengths of 5000 mm for solvent socket fusion
- Operating temperature range from 0°C to 45°C for industrial media
- High chemical resistance to acids, alkalis, and saline solutions
