The Georg Fischer malleable iron tee 134 reducing on branch galvanised provides a compact, heavy-duty three-way branching solution designed to divert flow into a reduced nominal diameter while directly integrating both male and female inline connections. Manufactured from premium decarburised whiteheart malleable cast iron grade EN-GJMW-400-5 in strict accordance with EN 10242 Design Symbol A, the fitting combines high mechanical tensile strength with superior ductile properties, effectively withstanding intense vibration, mechanical shock, and cyclic operational loads. The specific configuration of figure 134 features an inline run equipped with a parallel internal thread (Rp) on one port and a taper external thread (R) on the opposite inline port, combined with a 90-degree reduced side branch featuring a parallel internal thread (Rp), all standardized to EN 10226-1 and ISO 7-1. This integrated male-female run profile allows seamless direct connection into adjacent fittings or valves without the necessity of separate hex nipples or intermediate adapters, thereby reducing the number of potential leak paths and conserving critical installation clearance. Sealing is achieved across the interlocking 1:16 taper-to-parallel thread flanks, generating metallic compression where the pitch diameters engage and absorb external tensile, compressive, and bending stresses across the joint. The component undergoes hot-dip galvanisation with ultra-pure zinc, generating multiple metallurgical iron-zinc alloy diffusion layers beneath a protective pure zinc exterior, providing exceptional corrosion resistance in industrial utility networks, compressed air distribution, non-flammable gas services, cooling circuits, and hygienic potable water systems. Engineered to maintain complete pressure containment under arduous conditions, the fitting reliably operates across an allowable service temperature range of -20 degrees Celsius to 120 degrees Celsius at a maximum permissible working pressure of 25 bar, and up to 300 degrees Celsius at 20 bar.
