The Georg Fischer iJoint PP compression male adaptor is an engineered fitting designed for direct transition from polyethylene (PE) pressure pipelines to threaded valves, fittings, or utility equipment. Operating at a nominal pressure rating of PN16 (16 bar) across pipe diameters from d16 mm up to d110 mm, this fitting features an external conical male thread conforming to ISO 7-1 (DIN EN 10226) standards. Engineered specifically for utility drinking water distribution networks, residential service connections, pressurized sewage, and agricultural irrigation systems, it delivers a secure, leak-tight mechanical joint with zero risk of corrosion.

Manufactured with a high-performance UV-stabilized polypropylene copolymer (PP-B) body and a durable polyacetal (POM) split grip ring, the iJoint system is optimized for fast and reliable push-fit assembly. Installers can insert PE 80, PE 100, or PEX pipes directly into the fitting without disassembling the blue nut or preparing pipe chamfers. The specialized factory-lubricated food-safe EPDM lip gasket provides dynamic sealing that accommodates pipe ovality, undersized tolerances, and superficial surface scratching. Under hydrostatic pressure and tensile mechanical loads, the internal thrust ring compresses the lip gasket firmly against the pipe while the grip ring bites into the outer wall to prevent pull-out during severe water hammer events.

Suitable for continuous fluid service across an operating temperature range of -10 degrees to +45 degrees Celsius, the iJoint male adaptor is fully certified for potable water distribution under international standards including DVGW, ACS, KIWA, SVGW, and IIP.
