The Georg Fischer iJoint 90 degree equal tee is an advanced mechanical compression fitting engineered for high-integrity branching in potable water distribution, service connections, pressure sewage networks, and industrial piping systems. Manufactured from UV-stabilized polypropylene impact copolymer (PP-B), this three-way compression tee delivers exceptional mechanical strength, chemical resistance, and long-term aging stability in compliance with ISO 9080. Operating at a nominal pressure rating of PN16 (16 bar) across ambient working temperatures from -10 °C to +45 °C, it provides dependable structural performance without risk of corrosion, calcification, or biological degradation.

Engineered around a quick push-fit mechanism, the fitting permits direct pipe insertion without dismantling the factory-assembled blue polypropylene nut or inner components. High hydraulic sealing reliability is achieved through a factory-lubricated food-safe EPDM lip gasket that actively accommodates surface scratches, slight pipe ovality, and dimensional tolerances. Integrated polyacetal (POM) split grip rings mechanically bite into the pipe wall under tightening torque, providing superior axial pull-out restraint and water hammer resistance on both PE 80, PE 100, PEX, and PEX-a piping. Certified under major European drinking water standards including DVGW GW 335-B3, KTW, W270, ACS, KIWA, and SVGW, this equal tee guarantees total hygiene compliance for municipal water mains, civil infrastructure, and modern agricultural irrigation installations.
