Operating with an engineered offset centerline axis (dimension m), this female-threaded fitting allows horizontal pipework to maintain a continuous level bottom line for complete fluid drainage or a flat top line to prevent the accumulation of air pockets and entrapped gases. This eccentric geometry is critical in industrial fluid processing, steam and condensate networks, heating, cooling, compressed air, and gas distribution systems, where avoiding liquid pooling or gas blockage is vital for hydraulic balance and operational safety. Manufactured from premium decarburised annealed whiteheart malleable cast iron EN-GJMW-400-5 in compliance with EN 10242 Design Symbol A, the fitting body delivers superior tensile endurance, structural elasticity, and outstanding resistance to mechanical stress and torsional loads during wrench tightening. Long-term corrosion protection is achieved through a thorough hot-dip galvanising process, producing durable iron-zinc diffusion layers covered by a pure zinc exterior with an average thickness exceeding 70 micrometres, making the fitting fully compliant with strict hygienic standards for potable water installations. Both connection ports feature precision parallel internal pipe threads (Rp) according to EN 10226-1 and ISO 7-1, ensuring tight, reliable sealing along the threads when engaged with matching taper male threads and appropriate jointing media.
