The Georg Fischer ELGEF Plus PE100 SDR17 PN10 electrofusion coupler is engineered for high-integrity jointing in utility and industrial piping networks. Designed specifically for potable water systems operating at up to 10 bar and natural gas distribution lines rated up to 5 bar, this fitting ensures a permanent, homogenous, and leak-free joint. Manufactured from 100% virgin PE100 high-density polyethylene resin (RAL 9005 black), the coupler delivers exceptional structural integrity, chemical resistance, and resistance to environmental stress cracking, providing an estimated operational lifetime of over 100 years.

Engineered with embedded heating coils and standardized 4 mm pin connectors, each coupler features integrated fusion indicators that provide clear visual confirmation of completed welding cycles. Dynamic active reinforcement technology on large-diameter fittings (d355 to d800 mm) compensates for pipe ovality and ensures optimum melt pressure distribution during the fusion process. For diameters ranging from d160 up to d1200 mm, the fitting offers complete Track & Trace barcode traceability, allowing installation parameters to be captured accurately by standard electrofusion control units.

Fully compliant with European standards EN 12201-3 for water distribution and EN 1555-3 for gas networks, this SDR17 coupler is suitable for open-trench applications, trenchless installations, and civil infrastructure rehabilitation projects.
