Weld-On 724 ULVOC is an industrial-grade, heavy-bodied, medium-setting CPVC solvent cement engineered for rigid CPVC and PVC piping systems with interference fit, including Schedule 80 configurations up to 12 inches (315 mm) in diameter. Formulated specifically for demanding process environments, this solvent cement provides high-strength chemical fusion for industrial pressure lines, process wastewater systems, and chemical distribution manifolds. With a minimum Brookfield viscosity of 1,600 cps, the heavy-bodied formulation ensures exceptional gap-filling capacity and controlled flow during assembly, preventing joint starvation on larger pipe diameters.

Engineered to meet the stringent chemical resistance requirements of aggressive media, Weld-On 724 is fully approved for Corzan CPVC piping systems handling concentrated acids, bases, industrial salts, and hypochlorite solutions. The adhesive complies with ASTM F493 and holds dual certification under NSF/ANSI Standard 14 and NSF/ANSI Standard 61 for potable water systems and industrial applications. In addition, it conforms to the IAPMO Uniform Plumbing Code. Featuring an ultra-low VOC content of 382 g/L, it complies with SCAQMD Rule 1168/316A and holds UL GreenGuard Gold certification, directly contributing to LEED IEQ Credit 4.1 building requirements.

For optimal joint integrity and consistent molecular bonding, pipe surfaces and fitting sockets must be properly prepared and softened using Weld-On Primer P70 before cement application. The medium-setting characteristics provide sufficient open working time to assemble and align joints across metric and imperial dimensions while establishing high shear strength as the solvents evaporate.
