Industrial metric PVC-U solvent cement union designed for demountable connections in pressurized piping systems rated up to PN16 at 20 degrees Celsius. Manufactured from high-grade unplasticised polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U, RAL 7011 dark grey) and fitted with a high-integrity EPDM O-ring seal, this three-piece union provides a reliable radial seal while facilitating rapid, non-destructive disassembly of piping lines, process pumps, control valves, and measurement instrumentation during routine maintenance or facility overhauls. The fitting covers standard metric outside diameters from d16 mm up to d110 mm.

The three-piece union assembly comprises a solvent cement union bush, a union end with a precision-machined O-ring retention groove, and a robust threaded union nut. Tightening the union nut axially compresses the EPDM elastomer against the flat sealing face of the mating component, delivering dependable leak tightness without inducing mechanical bending stress across adjacent pipe sections. The unplasticised polyvinyl chloride compound provides superior chemical resistance against industrial acids, alkalis, saline solutions, and water treatment reagents, eliminating risks of electrochemical corrosion, encrustation, and wall degradation.

Engineered for service temperatures ranging from 0 to 45 degrees Celsius in pressurized industrial networks, with nominal operating pressure defined at 20 degrees Celsius. Solvent sockets comply with metric standard tolerances and are intended for cold solvent welding using approved solvent cements such as Tangit PVC-U or Tangit DTX for aggressive chemical media, following mechanical pipe chamfering and surface degreasing with specialized cleaners.
