Unions solvent cement and threaded PVC-U PN16
Industrial PVC-U unions are detachable three-piece fittings designed for modular piping construction, valve isolation, and equipment servicing. Manufactured by Georg Fischer, these unions allow rapid disconnection of process lines, pumps, and instrumentation without cutting installed pipework.
Technical characteristics
Engineered for high chemical resistance and mechanical reliability in industrial fluid conveyance, these unions feature precision sealing geometry:
- Nominal pressure rating: PN16 (16 bar at 20°C)
- Jointing methods: metric solvent cement sockets, parallel female Rp threads, and male taper R threads
- Transition variants: integrated brass threaded ends for plastic-to-metal interfacing
- Sealing material: replaceable face-sealing EPDM O-rings
- Operating temperature range: 0°C to 60°C
