The Georg Fischer ELGEF Plus 90-degree transition elbow PE100/brass with female parallel thread provides a robust, permanent transition between polyethylene distribution pipework and metallic threaded components. Engineered for demanding utility and industrial distribution networks, this SDR11 electrofusion fitting is rated for operating pressures up to 16 bar in potable water systems and up to 10 bar in combustible gas distribution lines. It enables seamless integration between electrofusion PE-HD pipe systems and threaded valves, meters, brass manifolds, or building service connections, eliminating mechanical weakness at directional changes.

Manufactured from high-density virgin PE100 resin combined with a precision-machined, dezincification-resistant brass threaded insert, this transition fitting offers outstanding resistance to corrosion, chemical attack, and mechanical stresses. The integrated electrofusion socket features embedded heating coils and 4 mm connection terminals compatible with standard electrofusion welding units. Equipped with integrated pipe fixation, it ensures correct pipe positioning and stability during the fusion and cooling cycles, resulting in homogeneous, leak-tight joints with full joint integrity and smooth internal hydraulic flow.

Designed to conform with EN 12201-1 for water supply and EN 1555-3 for gas distribution, the ELGEF Plus transition fitting is certified by international bodies including DVGW, KIWA, SVGW, and ACS. The smooth internal bore prevents encrustation, minimizing head loss and ensuring optimal flow capacity throughout an expected service lifetime exceeding 50 years under standard operating conditions.
