GF Piping Systems ABS Metric Socket with Rp Female Thread – a transition fitting combining a metric solvent cement socket with a parallel female thread (Rp), enabling direct connection between ABS metric pipework and plastic or metal threaded components. Available in metric pipe diameters d20 to d63 (Rp ½" to Rp 2"), rated at PN10 (10 bar at 20°C). Features an A2 stainless steel reinforcing ring for structural integrity at the threaded interface. Compatible with ABS metric pipe systems used in cooling, chilled water, water treatment, and industrial fluid handling. Installation requires Tangit ABS solvent cement; avoid thread sealing pastes harmful to ABS. Install under low mechanical stress; limit exposure to large cyclic temperature variations.
