The Georg Fischer SYGEF Standard 90 degrees bend in SDR33 PN10 is a precision-engineered polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) butt fusion fitting developed for reliable flow redirection in high-purity utility and industrial process piping networks. Manufactured by Georg Fischer from unpigmented, high-grade thermoplastic fluoropolymer, the fitting provides a 90 degrees directional transition with an extended bend radius designed to optimise hydraulic efficiency, minimise flow turbulence, and reduce localized pressure drop across metric pipe runs from d90 mm to d225 mm. Engineered with butt fusion spigots, the component is fully compatible with conventional butt fusion jointing in accordance with DVS 2207-15, contact-free infrared fusion (IR Plus) compliant with DVS 2207-6, and bead and crevice free (BCF Plus) welding on designated dimensions, facilitating smooth, crevice-free jointing that preserves fluid purity. The SDR33 structural geometry provides a nominal pressure rating of 10 bar (PN10) for water at 20 degrees Celsius, maintaining mechanical rigidity and pressure integrity across an extensive working temperature spectrum from -20 degrees Celsius to +140 degrees Celsius. Featuring a high-quality internal surface finish with a roughness of Ra less than or equal to 0.5 micrometres in compliance with SEMI F57 standards, the fitting actively inhibits particulate entrapment, biofilm build-up, and media contamination. Physiologically non-toxic and compliant with FDA 21 CFR 177.2510, USP 25 Class VI, ASME BPE, DIBt, and FM-4910 cleanroom standards, it exhibits exceptional chemical resistance against harsh oxidizing acids, non-oxidizing acids, halogens, salts, and aliphatic hydrocarbons.
