The Georg Fischer PROGEF Standard 45 degrees elbow SDR17.6 PN6 is an engineered thermoplastic fitting designed for directional changes in industrial piping systems. Manufactured by GF Piping Systems from high-grade beta-polypropylene homopolymer (beta-PP-H) with a Minimum Required Strength (MRS) of 10 MPa in compliance with EN ISO 15494, this spigot fitting provides exceptional resistance to aggressive chemicals, industrial wastewater, and process effluents. Operating at a nominal pressure of 6 bar (PN6), it is suited for pressure networks requiring long-term chemical durability and thermal stability.

With extended spigot ends, this 45 degrees elbow is engineered for butt fusion in accordance with DVS 2207 and contactless infrared (IR) fusion. The consistent material properties ensure uniform weld quality, high joint integrity, and minimal internal bead development. Unlike metallic piping, the smooth internal bore prevents scaling, encrustation, and corrosion, preserving hydraulic efficiency and reducing head loss throughout a design service life of at least 25 years under continuous operation.
