Georg Fischer COOL-FIT 4.0 reduced 90-degree tees provide pre-insulated branching solutions for secondary refrigeration circuits, process cooling, and commercial cold-distribution loops operating between -50 degrees to +60 degrees Celsius. Engineered as a factory-bonded 3-in-1 assembly, each fitting integrates an inner SDR11 PE100 media pipe rated for PN16 working pressure, a high-efficiency closed-cell GF HE polyurethane foam insulation core, and a robust, impact-resistant black outer jacket. The fitting incorporates Type A electrofusion jointing zones equipped with embedded heating coils and integrated elastomeric sealing lips at each interface. This design establishes an immediate vapor-tight and moisture-proof seal directly against the pre-insulated pipe jackets during socket insertion, completely eliminating the need for post-insulation, solvent cements, silicone seals, or supplementary heat-shrink sleeves. With a core foam thermal conductivity as low as 0.026 W/mK and a density of at least 70 kg/m3, the fitting effectively interrupts thermal bridging, halts condensing humidity, and prevents external corrosion across demanding chilled glycol and chilled water networks. Designed to accommodate mainline dimensions from d75 up to d225 mm with reduced branch take-offs, the unit streamlines mechanical integration in food processing facilities, industrial refrigeration rooms, and rooftop chiller plant rooms while ensuring uninterrupted thermal performance across a minimum 25-year operational service life.
