The Georg Fischer COOL-FIT 2.0/4.0 PE/brass adaptor fitting is an engineered transition solution designed for connecting pre-insulated PE100 chilled-water pipelines directly to threaded mechanical plant equipment, industrial valves, and distribution manifolds. Configured with a metric PE100 SDR11 spigot pipe end featuring a free jointing zone, the fitting facilitates rapid, secure electrofusion welding within both COOL-FIT 2.0 and COOL-FIT 4.0 cooling distribution networks. The mechanical interface features a heavy-duty CuZn40Pb2 brass body fitted with a loose union nut with standard internal cylindrical G threads and an included flat elastomeric EPDM sealing gasket. The loose nut coupling enables straightforward, tension-free mechanical tightening and non-destructive disassembly during maintenance, fully protecting the thermoplastic carrier pipe from induced torsional twisting while providing exceptional structural integrity. Certified for continuous nominal operating pressures up to 16 bar across secondary fluid working temperatures ranging from 0 degrees Celsius to +60 degrees Celsius, the transition fitting delivers permanent leak tightness in commercial HVAC installations, process cooling systems, cold water infrastructure, and critical data center applications.
