The construction pairs a metric PE100 SDR11 spigot union bush with a precision-machined union end manufactured from corrosion-resistant 1.4404 (316L) stainless steel featuring an Rp female parallel thread. Compression sealing is maintained by a high-grade elastomeric EPDM O-ring, torqued securely into position via an impact-resistant union nut molded from glass-fibre reinforced polyethylene (PEGF25).
