The Georg Fischer PROGEF Standard Type 546 Pro pneumatic ball valve combines a β-PP-H homopolymer body with a rugged PP-GF actuator housing for automated industrial media control. Configured as Fail-Safe to Open (FO) with an integrated manual override, the PPA actuator includes an optical position indicator and a standardized NAMUR interface (VDI/VDE 3845). The valve features a true double union design with metric PP-H ISO fusion sockets (d16–63mm), buttress threads, and PTFE ball seats backed by EPDM or FKM seals for constant operating torque. Integrated stainless steel mounting inserts provide secure anchoring, while the z-dimension ensures full backwards compatibility with legacy Type 546 units.
