The Safeblock double union PVC-U ball valve with integrated PE100 SDR11 spigots provides a direct, highly secure transition and isolation point between unplasticised polyvinyl chloride systems and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipelines. Operating at a nominal pressure of PN16 (16 bar at 20 degrees Celsius), this assembly eliminates the need for separate mechanical flange transitions or threaded adaptors when joining thermoplastic piping networks. The valve features a true union Safeblock design that secures the internal mechanism, allowing downstream disassembly and maintenance under system pressure without displacing the ball seat or risking accidental blowout.

The robust dark grey (RAL 7011) PVC-U valve body offers outstanding chemical resistance against corrosive media, including inorganic acids, alkalis, and neutral or aggressive saline solutions common in industrial process lines and water treatment plants. Precision-machined PTFE seats ensure smooth actuation torque and bubble-tight bidirectional shut-off, while heavy-duty EPDM backing O-rings maintain constant radial sealing pressure across thermal cycles. The spigots are manufactured from virgin PE100 resin with SDR11 wall thickness, enabling seamless jointing via electrofusion couplers or butt fusion welding directly to standard PE100 pipework.

The integrated true union nut architecture facilitates rapid radial removal of the central valve body during routine inspection, seat replacement, or seal maintenance without cutting the pipeline or disturbing welded PE100 pipe sections. Ergonomically engineered manual levers feature built-in indexing and provide visual open/closed position indication. Designed for rigorous industrial utility networks, water purification installations, chemical distribution, and irrigation manifolds, the valve combines the rigidity and dimensional stability of PVC-U with the crack-resistant ductility of welded polyethylene infrastructure, ensuring dependable, maintenance-friendly isolation across prolonged service spans.
