This PVC-U single union ball valve with threaded Rp sockets is engineered for reliable isolation and flow shut-off in industrial piping systems, water treatment installations, and chemical processing facilities. Rated for nominal operating pressures up to PN16 at 20 degrees Celsius, the valve body is constructed from unplasticised polyvinyl chloride, delivering outstanding structural rigidity, dimensional stability, and proven resistance against a broad spectrum of inorganic acids, alkalis, and saline solutions.

The single union configuration features an integrated union nut and female threaded end connection, allowing rapid decoupling and maintenance of adjacent pipe segments without requiring extensive line disassembly. Both connection ports utilize parallel female threads conforming to the Rp standard per EN 10226-1 and ISO 7-1, ensuring secure mechanical jointing when assembled with standard PTFE tape. Inside the valve, a precision-machined PVC-U ball rotates smoothly against low-friction PTFE seats, maintaining bidirectional sealing integrity, low operating torque, and dependable sealing performance over prolonged duty cycles.

High-performance EPDM elastomer O-rings seal the stem and union interface, accommodating operating media temperatures from 0 to 60 degrees Celsius in accordance with standard thermoplastic pressure derating principles. The smooth, non-porous thermoplastic interior prevents mineral scaling, encrustation, and fouling, maintaining optimal hydraulic flow characteristics throughout system service life. A rugged manual handle provides positive 90-degree lever travel and clear visual indication of open or closed status.
