The Georg Fischer COOL-FIT 4.0 transition tee 90 degrees combines an electrofusion socket branch in pre-insulated PE100 SDR11 with a precision-machined CuZn40Pb2 brass female thread (Rp) outlet, engineered specifically for secondary cooling circuits, industrial refrigeration, and chilled water infrastructure. Manufactured as part of the factory pre-insulated 3-in-1 technology, the fitting integrates a metric PE100 SDR11 carrier pipe, core GF HE closed-cell halogen-free polyurethane insulation foam, and a robust, impact-resistant black outer jacket. This integrated structure completely eliminates thermal bridging and prevents moisture vapor penetration along the line. The 90-degree branch design features a heavy-duty brass transition threaded internally with standard Rp parallel female thread (1 inch or 2 inch nominal diameters), facilitating seamless mechanical connection to threaded metal piping, valves, instrumentation, or refrigeration equipment without compromising thermal performance. Designed to handle medium temperatures ranging from -50 degrees Celsius to +60 degrees Celsius at nominal operating pressures up to 16 bar, the transition tee offers total resistance to aggressive secondary refrigerants such as water-glycol mixtures and brines while resisting internal encrustation and atmospheric corrosion. Electrofusion jointing on the PE100 run uses embedded heating coils and an engineered sealing lip to achieve permanent, leak-free fusion with an airtight, moisture-proof seal that requires no post-insulation taping, mastic, or heat-shrink sleeves.
