The Georg Fischer COOL-FIT 4.0 T90 equal pre-insulated electrofusion fitting is engineered for energy-efficient chilled water circuits, industrial process cooling, and commercial refrigeration distribution networks. Designed as an integrated 3-in-1 component combining a core media pipe, thermal insulation, and an external protective casing, the fitting ensures reliable fluid distribution while eliminating condensation and thermal bridges. The fluid-carrying interior consists of high-density polyethylene PE100 in SDR11 dimensions, rated for a nominal working pressure of 16 bar. Surrounding the PE100 core, the factory-applied GF HE closed-cell foam provides superior thermal insulation with low thermal conductivity, preventing exterior moisture ingress and significantly reducing thermal loss compared to post-insulated systems. The robust outer jacket delivers heavy-duty impact resistance and UV durability, shielding the insulation layer in both indoor and outdoor chilled water installations without requiring additional metal jacketing or protective cladding. As a Type A component, this 90-degree equal tee features integrated electrofusion sockets with built-in heating coils and flexible sealing lips at each connection end, establishing an airtight and vapor-tight joint directly onto COOL-FIT 4.0 pipes without requiring secondary adhesives, silicone sealants, or shrink sleeves. Engineered to handle fluid media temperatures ranging from minus 50 degrees Celsius to plus 60 degrees Celsius, the smooth PE100 inner wall prevents incrustation and scaling while offering complete chemical resistance against glycol-water mixtures. By combining rapid electrofusion jointing with pre-insulated factory reliability, the tee fitting supports long-term operational integrity across data centers, breweries, and food processing facilities with a design life of at least 25 years.
