The Georg Fischer COOL-FIT 4.0 adaptor fitting PE/stainless steel is an engineered pre-insulated transition component designed to establish a reliable, detachable mechanical interface between PE100 cooling distribution networks and threaded metallic equipment, chillers, valves, or process manifolds. Manufactured with a metric SDR11 PE100 spigot end featuring a free pipe section and a premium 1.4404 (316L) stainless steel insert with a cylindrical loose union nut G thread, the fitting incorporates an elastomer EPDM flat seal for dependable, leak-tight sealing under continuous thermal cycling. Rated for a maximum operating pressure of 16 bar and designed for liquid media temperatures ranging from -50 degrees to +60 degrees Celsius, this transition assembly effectively mitigates galvanic corrosion, internal incrustation, and aggressive fluid degradation. The PE100 spigot end seamlessly integrates with standard electrofusion welding fittings, enabling fast, homogenous electrofusion jointing that maintains structural integrity across the secondary refrigeration circuit.
