The Georg Fischer COOL-FIT 2.0 90 degrees reduced tee is an advanced factory pre-insulated electrofusion fitting engineered for chilled water, industrial process cooling, and commercial HVAC distribution loops. Manufactured as a fully integrated 3-in-1 system, the fitting incorporates a robust PE100 SDR11 inner carrier pipe, high-efficiency closed-cell GF HE polyurethane foam insulation, and an impact-resistant black protective outer jacket that are firmly bonded together to prevent thermal bridging and moisture ingress. Operating with a nominal pressure rating of 16 bar (PN16) and engineered for media temperatures ranging from 0 degrees Celsius to +60 degrees Celsius, the reduced tee enables reliable hydraulic branching from primary distribution lines (diameters d75 mm to d140 mm, DN65 to DN125) into reduced distribution circuits (d63 mm to d110 mm). The run connections feature Type A electrofusion sockets equipped with embedded heating wires and integrated elastomer sealing lips that establish a certified vapor-tight and moisture-proof seal without requiring silicone, adhesive mastic, or shrink sleeves, while the reduced 90 degrees branch is supplied with a calibrated free spigot end ready for electrofusion jointing via standard couplers. The halogen-free insulation layer delivers an exceptional thermal conductivity of λ ≤ 0.022 W/mK at 20 degrees Celsius, enhancing thermal energy efficiency by up to 30% and eliminating condensation under specified operating parameters.
