The Georg Fischer COOL-FIT 2.0 adaptor fitting PE/stainless steel with female thread Rp is engineered to deliver a vapor-tight, corrosion-resistant transition between pre-insulated polyethylene pipe networks and threaded metallic system components in industrial refrigeration, HVAC, and chilled water circuits. Built with an SDR11 metric PE100 spigot end, this hybrid fitting enables secure electrofusion jointing to standard COOL-FIT 2.0 electrofusion couplers, fittings, and pipes, while the precision-machined stainless steel 1.4404 (316L) female Rp thread ensures rigid, high-integrity mechanical coupling to male threaded equipment, valves, manifold headers, or measurement instruments. Rated for continuous operating pressures up to 16 bar at media temperatures from 0 degrees Celsius to +60 degrees Celsius, the fitting integrates an internal EPDM O-ring elastomer gasket that provides an impervious hermetic barrier against hydraulic leakage across dynamic thermal cycling conditions. To prevent localized thermal bridging and eliminate exterior condensation in sub-ambient environments, each transition fitting is factory-supplied with tailored closed-cell NBR foam insulation that completely envelopes the metal-to-plastic interface.
