The Georg Fischer COOL-FIT 2.0/4.0 adaptor fitting PE/stainless steel with loose union nut G provides an engineered transition joint between pre-insulated polyethylene piping networks and threaded mechanical equipment in chilled-water and industrial cooling circuits. Built with a metric PE100 spigot in SDR11 and high-grade 1.4404 (316L) stainless steel with a female G-thread loose union nut, this transition fitting delivers a dependable, corrosion-resistant mechanical interface for chillers, secondary refrigeration loops, manifolds, and process instrumentation. The PE100 spigot side features an uninsulated free end designed for electrofusion welding with COOL-FIT fittings or butt fusion jointing, ensuring homogeneous connection integrity and high axial restraint within the piping framework. On the mechanical connection end, the factory-integrated stainless steel loose union nut enables fast, tension-free assembly and dismantling against matching cylindrical male threads without requiring pipe rotation. Media tightness and long-term joint integrity are maintained under dynamic operational conditions by the included flat EPDM elastomer gasket. Rated for a nominal working pressure of 16 bar (PN16) across dimensions from d32 mm (DN25) up to d63 mm (DN50), the component operates reliably within standard fluid temperatures from 0 degrees Celsius to +60 degrees Celsius.
