Manufactured by Georg Fischer, this hybrid union couples metric PVC-C solvent cement pipe networks directly to female-threaded metallic equipment, valves, and pump manifolds. Designed with a metric solvent cement socket end in post-chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (PVC-C) and an insert end fabricated from 1.4404 (316L) stainless steel with an external taper thread R, this fitting delivers superior mechanical stability and hermetic sealing across high-temperature chemical distribution networks.

Rated for a nominal operating pressure of PN16 (16 bar) at 20 degrees Celsius, this transition union maintains operational integrity at working temperatures up to 80 degrees Celsius under pressure. The threaded end is precision-machined from acid-resistant 1.4404 austenitic stainless steel, preventing thread damage and stress cracking when torqued into metallic components. Sealing integrity is ensured by an elastomeric O-ring in either EPDM or FKM (fluoroelastomer), offering high chemical compatibility across aggressive acids, alkalis, and industrial saline solutions.
