The Georg Fischer ELGEF Plus 90-degree reduced tee in PE100 SDR17 is an injection-moulded polyethylene spigot fitting engineered for branch derivations in municipal water distribution, industrial cooling, effluent piping, and natural gas networks. Manufactured from virgin high-density PE100 resin, this fitting is rated for operating pressures up to 10 bar (PN10) for water conveyance and 5 bar for combustible gas installations, adhering strictly to EN 12201 and EN 1555 product standards.

Engineered as a long-spigot fitting, this reduced tee accommodates dual jointing methodologies: it can be welded directly into piping systems via conventional butt fusion or assembled using standard electrofusion couplers. The extended tubular spigot ends provide sufficient insertion depth and generous clamping zones for alignment clamps, ensuring stability and optimal joint integrity during the welding cycle. Main run diameters span from d90 mm up to d315 mm with corresponding step-down branch outlets, featuring nominal wall thicknesses ranging from 5.4 mm (d90) to 18.7 mm (d315).

The PE100 formulation delivers superior resistance to rapid crack propagation, internal hydraulic surge, and environmental stress cracking, accompanied by smooth hydraulic bore characteristics that prevent encrustation. Fully integrated into the GF Track & Trace quality management architecture, each fitting features individual traceability codes for automated logging on job sites. International utility compliance is backed by certifications including DVGW, KIWA, SVGW, and ACS.
