Manufactured from unplasticised polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U), this 90 degrees metric bend is engineered for fluid handling in pressurised industrial piping systems. Its long-radius geometry executes sweeping directional changes with markedly lower hydraulic resistance and head loss than compact elbows, optimising flow characteristics across process loops. The fitting is rated PN16, meaning 16 bar maximum allowable working pressure at a reference temperature of 20 degrees Celsius, and is manufactured and tested in accordance with EN ISO 1452-3. The range covers metric diameters from d20 to d110 mm.

Both sockets are calibrated for solvent cement jointing, forming a homogeneous chemical weld when assembled with cements such as Tangit PVC-U together with the matching cleaner and primer. The dark grey RAL 7011 PVC-U compound offers high resistance to inorganic acids, alkalis, brine and the chemical media typical of surface finishing lines, industrial water treatment plants and cooling water circuits. The working envelope runs from 0 to 60 degrees Celsius, with the standard pressure de-rating factors applied above 20 degrees Celsius; dimensional stability, freedom from corrosion and minimal biofilm deposition distinguish the bend from metallic alternatives.
