The Georg Fischer iJOINT 90 degrees tee with threaded female off-take is an engineered polypropylene compression fitting designed for branching polyethylene pipelines into threaded equipment, valves, or auxiliary lines. Suitable for potable water distribution, civil infrastructure, industrial fluid conveyance, and pressurized irrigation networks, this fitting delivers full PN16 (16 bar) working pressure performance across pipe dimensions ranging from d16 mm up to d110 mm. The side branch features a parallel female thread complying with DIN EN 10226 (ISO 7-1), reinforced externally with an AISI 430 stainless steel ring to eliminate radial stress cracking during assembly.

Engineered with a high-grade UV-stabilized polypropylene impact copolymer (PP-B) body and blue union nuts, the fitting exhibits superior resistance to chemical degradation, soil weathering, and ultraviolet radiation. The mechanical grip assembly incorporates a high-tensile polyacetal (POM) split ring that grips firmly into the outer wall of the PE pipe, providing robust axial pull-out resistance against hydraulic water hammer and ground settlement. Hydraulic sealing is achieved via a factory-lubricated, food-safe EPDM lip gasket that accommodates ovalized, surface-scratched, or slightly undersized pipes without compromising joint integrity.

The push-fit architecture allows rapid direct insertion of PE 80, PE 100, PEX, and PEX-a pipes without dismantling the fitting or chamfering the pipe ends. Certified under DVGW GW 335-B3, ACS, KIWA, and ISO 17885 standards, the iJOINT tee operates reliably across a wide temperature range from -10 °C to +45 °C, making it an ideal long-term solution for permanent utility distribution mains, service connections, and demanding industrial piping applications.
