The Georg Fischer SYGEF Standard Diaphragm Valve DIASTAR Ten FC delivers high-precision automated flow regulation and bubble-tight isolation for aggressive chemicals, deionized media, and high-purity industrial piping systems across metric dimensions d20 to d63 mm (DN15 to DN50). Manufactured with an unpigmented polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) body and an integrated fail-safe-to-close (FC / normally closed) pneumatic actuator, the unit automatically drives the diaphragm into a tight seal upon the disruption or loss of pneumatic control pressure. An optimized weir body geometry provides up to double the flow rate and kv value of predecessor valve generations, substantially decreasing flow resistance, localized fluid shear, and system pressure drop throughout chemical distribution circuits. The compact pneumatic actuator features a central union nut construction that replaces traditional four-screw bonnet fastening, distributing uniform clamping pressure across the sealing diaphragm while accelerating maintenance routines. For effortless positioning within complex piping assemblies, the actuator includes a pneumatic control air connection configurable in 90 degrees rotational increments. The valve assembly utilizes metric true union ends configured for socket fusion jointing, enabling rapid installation and complete radial removal without axial displacement or stress transfer to the surrounding pipeline. Compatible with high-grade PTFE/EPDM and PTFE/FKM diaphragm configurations and featuring integrated base mounting inserts for rigid structural fastening, this valve provides reliable duty across a service temperature span from -20 degrees C to 140 degrees C in demanding chemical processing, semiconductor water distribution, and pharmaceutical utility lines.
