The Georg Fischer (GF Piping Systems) DIASTAR Six ABS pneumatic diaphragm valve is engineered for automated, highly reliable flow control in demanding industrial applications. Configured in Fail Safe to Close (FC) mode, the valve shuts down flow automatically upon pilot air pressure loss, protecting downstream systems. Engineered with metric solvent cement spigots for diameters from d25 mm to d63 mm (DN20 to DN50), it maintains a nominal pressure rating of PN6 (6 bar). Its fluid-dynamically optimised internal contour doubles the flow capacity compared to predecessor generations, markedly reducing line pressure loss.

Constructed with a robust Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) body and an EPDM diaphragm, the DIASTAR Six is suited for chilled water, industrial cooling, water treatment, marine systems, and drinking water processing. The ABS material provides high ductile toughness and outstanding chemical resistance against salts and diluted acids. The pneumatic actuator is protected within a glass-fibre reinforced polypropylene (PP-GF) housing, preventing corrosion in harsh ambient atmospheres.

Serviceability and installation flexibility are core advantages of this design. A single central housing nut replaces traditional four-bolt patterns, enabling swift diaphragm replacement without removing the valve body from the piping run. The integrated G 1/8 inch pneumatic air connection rotates at 90 degrees intervals to suit any tubing layout. Furthermore, the overall installation face-to-face length complies with standard EN 558, ensuring straightforward interchangeability.
