The Georg Fischer DIASTAR TenPlus ABS pneumatic diaphragm valve in Fail-Safe-to-Close (FC) configuration delivers automated flow control, throttling, and isolation in demanding industrial piping networks. Fitted with metric solvent cement union sockets from d20 to d63 (DN15 to DN50), this automated valve operates under a full PN10 bidirectional pressure rating. Its flow-optimized internal body geometry provides up to double the flow coefficient of conventional diaphragm valves, minimizing hydraulic head loss while enabling linear control in chilled water systems, industrial cooling circuits, and water treatment processes.

A primary structural advantage of the DIASTAR TenPlus platform is the central housing nut design, which replaces traditional four-bolt bonnet patterns. This single-nut connection applies uniform radial compression across the EPDM diaphragm, eliminates external fastener corrosion, and simplifies maintenance routines in tight industrial skids. The integrated pneumatic actuator includes a 90 degrees rotatable air inlet (threaded G 1/8 inch to G 1/4 inch), facilitating adaptable pneumatic hose routing. In the event of pilot air pressure loss, calibrated internal springs immediately return the diaphragm to the valve seat, guaranteeing bubble-tight bidirectional isolation.

Manufactured from unplasticized Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), the valve body provides high impact resistance, ductile performance at low operating temperatures, and dependable chemical resistance against cooling brines, diluted acids, and bases. The true union configuration allows fast radial removal during system overhauls, jointing directly to metric pipework using solvent cement bonding.
