The Georg Fischer SYGEF Standard end cap SDR33 PN10 provides a high-integrity, clean termination for unplasticized polyvinylidene fluoride piping networks across outer diameters from d90 mm to d225 mm. Machined from high-grade polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), this robust component is engineered to isolate terminal lines, manifold ends, and reserve branches in chemical processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and ultra-pure water distribution systems. Jointing is performed via butt fusion, offering full compatibility with contactless infrared (IR Plus) and conventional butt-welding equipment to achieve homogenous, stress-relieved joints that maintain long-term pressure containment. The machined body incorporates an integrated external facing mark that facilitates precise alignment and facing preparation prior to the welding cycle. With an exceptional inner surface finish featuring an average surface roughness Ra of less than or equal to 0.5 micrometres, the end cap minimizes medium disturbance and prevents the formation of biofilms, particulate buildup, and chemical crystallization in dead-leg zones. Designed with an SDR33 wall-thickness ratio rated for nominal pressures up to 10 bar (PN10), it operates reliably across a wide operating temperature envelope spanning from minus 20 degrees Celsius up to plus 140 degrees Celsius. The fluoropolymer material delivers outstanding chemical resistance against aggressive oxidizing acids, technical solvents, halogens, and deionized water, remaining fully stable during rigorous sanitization protocols using hot water, clean steam, ozone, or chemical agents. Produced in accordance with ISO 10931 dimensional requirements, every fitting features permanent lot-traceability embossing for strict quality management in validated process facilities.
