Manufactured by Georg Fischer (GF Piping Systems), the PROGEF Standard 90 degrees equal tee is an injection-moulded butt fusion fitting engineered for industrial piping systems. Designed for pressure applications in demanding chemical and industrial environments, this branching fitting provides balanced, symmetrical flow distribution for process fluids and effluents with minimal hydraulic resistance.

The fitting conforms to EN ISO 15494 dimensions and belongs to the SDR 11 series, rated for PN 10 (10 bar) pressure service with a 25-year operational design life for water at 20°C. The raw material consists of isotactic beta-nucleated polypropylene homopolymer (β-PP-H) with MRS 10 MPa for diameters d20 to d315 mm. For larger metric dimensions from d355 to d500 mm, polypropylene random copolymer (PP-R) with MRS 10 MPa is used. This compound ensures high resistance to internal hydrostatic pressure, excellent stress crack resistance, and dependable performance against acids, alkalis, and salts at working temperatures up to 80°C.

Featuring extended spigot ends, the PROGEF tee allows reliable jointing via heated-tool butt fusion in accordance with DVS 2207 specifications, as well as contactless infrared (IR) fusion. The smooth interior surface prevents encrustation and scaling, safeguarding long-term hydraulic performance and minimizing operating pressure drops in chemical process lines, industrial water treatment, and distribution manifolds.
