The Georg Fischer ELGEF Plus electrofusion end cap (PE100, SDR11) is engineered for permanent, hermetic pipeline termination in pressurized water, natural gas, industrial processing, and utility networks. Rated for operating pressures up to 16 bar for water conveyance and 10 bar for combustible gas distribution, this fitting ensures maximum joint integrity across an operating temperature range of -50 degrees to +60 degrees Celsius. Manufactured from virgin high-density polyethylene resin compliant with EN 12201-3, EN 1555-3, and EN ISO 15494 standards, the end cap exhibits exceptional resistance against chemical corrosion, incrustation, and aggressive soil conditions.

The component incorporates embedded electrofusion heating coils engineered for uniform heat distribution across the joint interface during the fusion cycle. Standard 4 mm terminal pins ensure compatibility with universal electrofusion control units, allowing automated parameter entry via standard barcode scanning or manual operation. Pop-up visual fusion indicators provide direct physical confirmation of completed weld progression.
