The Georg Fischer SYGEF Standard Diaphragm Valve DIASTAR Ten DA provides high-performance pneumatic fluid control for aggressive media, microelectronics chemical distribution, and pharmaceutical purified water systems. Manufactured from high-grade polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), this valve configuration features metric spigot ends engineered for clean, high-integrity butt fusion welding, including infrared (IR Plus) and bead-and-crevice-free (BCF Plus) joining methods across pipe diameters from d20 mm to d63 mm (DN15 to DN50). The integrated double-acting (DA) pneumatic actuator operates via bidirectional compressed air supply to power both opening and closing strokes, delivering rapid cycle times, stable flow throttling, and dependable position control without internal return springs. An optimized internal flow geometry delivers up to double the flow rate compared to previous generations, substantially minimizing system pressure drop while maintaining laminar flow characteristics. System maintenance and field assembly are streamlined through a single robust housing nut that replaces traditional four-bolt bonnets, ensuring uniform circumferential sealing pressure on the diaphragm and eliminating uneven torque distribution. Flexible pneumatic tube connection is facilitated by an integrated air connection port that freely rotates at 90-degree intervals. Equipped with chemically inert PTFE diaphragm sealing backed by high-resilience elastomer substrates, the assembly guarantees absolute media isolation, hermetic sealing against one-sided operating pressures up to 10 bar, and zero particulate leaching. The valve reliably withstands continuous operating temperatures from -20 degrees Celsius to +140 degrees Celsius and complies with rigorous ASME BPE, FDA 21 CFR 177.2510, and USP 25 Class VI requirements, making it ideal for systems sanitised with steam, ozone, or aggressive chemicals.
