The Georg Fischer Multi/Clamp threaded tapping saddle with an Rp 1" female outlet delivers a robust, durable, and leak-tight branching solution for demanding industrial, utility, and municipal piping networks. Engineered for under-pressure hot tapping as well as standard unpressurised line branch connections, this saddle clamp is rated for working pressures up to 16 bar (PN16). Constructed entirely from high-grade AISI 304 (A2) stainless steel, it guarantees superior mechanical strength and extended service life in buried underground installations as well as exposed aboveground plant environments.

Each clamp is fabricated in a specialized stainless-steel-only production environment using advanced robotic welding and full component passivation, eliminating the risk of contact corrosion and ensuring maximum chemical resistance. Sealing is achieved via a profiled NBR waffle rubber gasket certified according to EN 682, operating reliably across temperatures from -10 degrees C to +70 degrees C for water, wastewater, and gas distribution media. The elastomeric gasket adapts seamlessly to pipeline surface irregularities, distributing compression evenly to prevent pipe wall deformation while maintaining full hydrodynamic integrity.

Designed for broad compatibility across rigid utility piping, this Rp 1" threaded saddle clamp mounts securely on ductile cast iron, grey cast iron, steel, and asbestos cement mains. The heavy-duty stainless steel band, lugs, and fastening hardware provide generous tolerance ranges that accommodate nominal pipe variations and simplify field installation.
