The Georg Fischer (GF Piping Systems) PVC-C Ball Valve Type 546 Pro is an advanced industrial shut-off and control valve engineered for demanding chemical processing, industrial water treatment, and high-temperature fluid distribution lines. Manufactured from high-grade chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (PVC-C) in Agate Grey RAL 7038, this valve delivers exceptional mechanical rigidity and thermal stability, reliably operating at temperatures up to 80 degrees Celsius under pressure. Rated for a nominal pressure of PN16 (16 bar) at 20 degrees Celsius across the entire dimension range from d16 up to d110 mm (DN10 to DN100), the Type 546 Pro is built to handle aggressive acids, bases, and salt solutions where conventional PVC-U systems reach their operating limits.

Internal fluid dynamics and positive sealing are achieved through a precision-machined ball seated on low-friction PTFE backing seals, paired with high-durability EPDM or FKM elastomeric gaskets. The modular design features standard solvent cement sockets for metric piping installations in compliance with ISO and DIN standards. For automated facilities, the body incorporates integrated stainless steel threaded inserts (grade 1.4404 / 316L) on the base, providing a rigid interface for bracket mounting according to DIN/ISO 5211.
