The Georg Fischer PROGEF Standard Type 546 Pro pneumatic ball valve is engineered for automated industrial flow control in chemical and water treatment systems. Actuated by a corrosion-resistant PP-GF pneumatic unit configured in fail-safe-to-open (FO) mode, it features an integrated manual override, visual position indicator, and standard NAMUR interface (VDI/VDE 3845) operating at 5.6 bar control pressure with a 1-2 s actuation time. Constructed from beta PP-H with SDR11 butt fusion spigots compatible with IR-Plus welding, the valve incorporates PTFE seats, self-adjusting backing rings, a safety stem, and stainless steel inserts.
