Georg Fischer PROGEF Standard Type 561 check valves are engineered from isotactic polypropylene (PP-H) for demanding industrial piping systems. Featuring metric SDR 17.6 butt fusion spigots compatible with conventional and infrared (IR) welding, this double union valve conforms to EN ISO 16137. The springless mechanism relies on a flow-optimized, double-guided return cone providing vibration-free operation under high flow velocities, requiring a minimum water column of 2 m for positive vertical sealing. Available with high-grade EPDM or FKM elastomeric seals, the valve delivers robust chemical resistance and a PN10 pressure rating.
