The Georg Fischer ELGEF Plus PE/brass electrofusion female transition coupler provides an engineered transition solution for joining polyethylene (PE100) distribution piping to threaded metallic valves, fittings, and instrumentation. Manufactured with virgin PE100 resin and high-grade brass, this SDR11 transition fitting delivers reliable performance across municipal water networks, natural gas utilities, and industrial processing systems requiring leak-tight mechanical-to-polyethylene interfaces. Rated for operating pressures up to 16 bar for water applications and 10 bar for gas media, it provides complete structural integrity and long-term chemical durability.

The electrofusion socket incorporates precision-embedded heating coils, integrated 4 mm connection terminals, and dynamic limited-path fusion indicators that provide clear visual verification of correct joint completion. To streamline installation in trench conditions, the fitting features integral pipe fixation mechanisms for pipe dimensions up to d63, eliminating the necessity for external clamping tools while securing perfect pipe positioning during the welding and cooling cycles.
