The ELGEF Plus 45-degree equal tee in PE100 SDR17 is an injection-moulded thermoplastic spigot fitting engineered by Georg Fischer for utility, industrial, and municipal distribution networks. Designed to create a smooth 45-degree branch off main PE lines without excessive turbulence or head loss, this component is suited for underground buried infrastructure as well as surface-installed systems conveying potable water, treated industrial effluent, or combustible fuel gases.

Manufactured from high-density polyethylene PE100, the fitting conforms to standard dimensional ratio SDR17, providing a continuous operating pressure rating of PN10 (10 bar) for water applications and PN5 (5 bar) for natural gas distribution at ambient temperatures. The product family covers nominal outer diameters d90 mm (DN80) and d110 mm (DN100), with corresponding nominal wall thicknesses of 5.4 mm and 6.6 mm. The smooth internal bore minimizes flow resistance and prevents the formation of internal incrustations or biological buildup over extended operating lifespans.

Featuring extended spigot ends with straight lengths (L) of 88 mm to 92 mm, this fitting provides sufficient fusion clearance for standard electrofusion couplers or clamping in butt fusion machines according to DVS welding guidelines. Overall dimensions include length along the main run (z) from 371 mm to 400 mm and branch offset (z1) from 236 mm to 259 mm.
