The Georg Fischer COOL-FIT 2.0/4.0 Adaptor fitting PE/iFIT stainless steel d32-25/32mm provides a precision-engineered transition interface between pre-insulated polyethylene cooling networks and modular iFIT piping loops. Designed for integration within secondary refrigeration, process cooling, and chilled water distribution systems, this hybrid fitting features a metric spigot end manufactured from robust PE100 SDR11 alongside an integrated module fabricated from premium grade 1.4404 (316L) stainless steel. Rated for a nominal operating pressure of 10 bar (PN10) at nominal diameter DN25, the unit features an outer diameter d of 32 mm on the polyethylene side, an iFIT interface d1 of 25/32 mm, a total overall length of 132 mm, a PE spigot length L1 of 36 mm, and a stainless steel body length L2 of 80 mm with a total weight of 0.211 kg. The PE100 spigot section provides a free fusion end perfectly prepared for automated electrofusion jointing into COOL-FIT 2.0 or COOL-FIT 4.0 piping setups, ensuring consistent vapor-tight sealing and thermal continuity across cold process lines carrying water or glycol solutions down to sub-zero temperatures. On the opposite side, the AISI 316L stainless steel module delivers superior corrosion resistance, structural strength, and hygienic fluid containment when interfacing with manifold systems, terminal heat exchangers, or mechanical equipment.
