High-performance PVC-U check valve designed for automatic backflow prevention in pressurised industrial, utility and irrigation piping networks. Rated at PN 16 (16 bar at 20 degrees Celsius), this non-return valve maintains dependable directional flow control and protects upstream equipment such as pumps, flow meters and instrumentation against reverse flow.

The valve body is manufactured from unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U, dark grey RAL 7011), combining high mechanical rigidity with broad chemical resistance to acids, alkalis and saline solutions. Precision metric solvent cement sockets, offered from d16 mm to d90 mm, integrate the valve directly into metric PVC-U piping systems: solvent cement jointing chemically cold-welds socket and spigot into a homogeneous, leak-tight connection able to carry the full rated pressure of the line.

Internally, the sealing element is an EPDM elastomer gasket that delivers positive shut-off even at low backpressure, while the hydrodynamic profile of the flow path keeps pressure loss low and the passage smooth, reducing hydraulic turbulence and mechanical wear across extended operating cycles. Manufactured from non-toxic materials certified for potable water, the valve suits water treatment plants, swimming pool filtration circuits and commercial irrigation networks. The unplasticized polymer structure will not corrode, scale or pit, eliminating internal fouling and keeping the valve maintenance-free in demanding fluid handling duties.
