The ELGEF Plus Bend 22 degrees PE100 SDR17 is a long-version spigot fitting from the Georg Fischer (GF Piping Systems) ELGEF Plus programme, produced from seamless PE100 polyethylene pipe and rated PN10 — 10 bar on water. The size range runs from d90 to d1000 mm (DN80–DN1000), with wall thicknesses between 5.4 mm and 59.3 mm, so a single fitting type serves secondary distribution branches and large transport mains without any change of jointing technology.

The 22 degree deflection is formed on a 1.5 × d centreline radius, which keeps the flow path wide and limits the pressure drop generated at directional changes — relevant where a long main has to follow a road alignment or a trench profile made up of successive shallow deviations. Dimensional parameters across the range are z = 160–1200 mm, L = 100–450 mm and R = 135–1500 mm; the straight spigot sections provide the clamping length required by the butt fusion machine or by an electrofusion coupler.

Forming the bend from seamless pipe rather than moulding it keeps wall thickness uniform and structural behaviour consistent over the whole bend profile, with no seam or segment weld in the deflected zone. Both spigot ends are compatible with electrofusion (EF) fittings and with butt fusion (BF) welding, so the bend integrates directly into PE100 networks joined by either method.
