This Georg Fischer ABS adaptor union provides a robust, detachable transition between metric ABS solvent cement piping networks and threaded metal equipment or pipework. Designed with an ABS metric solvent cement socket on one end and a parallel female Rp thread manufactured from galvanized malleable iron on the other, the fitting allows seamless mechanical demountability for maintenance, valve installation, and component replacement without altering the surrounding installation. Rated for a nominal pressure of PN10 (10 bar at 20 degrees Celsius), this transition union is specifically engineered for secondary refrigeration, chilled water circuits, industrial air conditioning, and water treatment systems.

The fitting assembly includes a gravel grey (RAL 7001) ABS solvent cement adaptor bush, a heavy-duty ABS union nut, an EPDM profile gasket for dependable sealing, and a robust galvanized malleable iron threaded end.
