This PVC-U threaded hose adaptor provides a direct, highly secure mechanical transition between rigid industrial piping systems and flexible suction or delivery hoses. Designed with a standardized male taper thread R in accordance with ISO 7-1 (EN 10226-1) on one side and a ribbed hose spigot on the other, it allows fast coupling of flexible fluid lines without requiring complex solvent-weld transitions. Rated for an operating pressure of PN16 (16 bar) at a reference media temperature of 20 degrees Celsius, this fitting ensures maximum mechanical integrity in high-demand fluid handling environments across water treatment, utility networks, chemical dosing, and agricultural irrigation.

Manufactured from high-grade unplasticised polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) in standard industrial dark grey (RAL 7011), the adaptor offers complete immunity to electrolytic corrosion and exceptional chemical resistance against a broad spectrum of inorganic acids, alkalis, salt solutions, and industrial wastewater. Unlike metallic hose nipples, it will not pit, rust, or degrade when exposed to aggressive process media or humid atmospheric conditions, preventing media contamination and maintaining consistent flow characteristics throughout its operating lifecycle.

Proper thread engagement requires the use of virgin PTFE tape applied in the direction of the thread; liquid thread sealants or solvent-based pastes known to cause environmental stress cracking in amorphous thermoplastics must strictly be avoided. The profiled hose tail ensures dependable retention of flexible tubing, preventing accidental pull-off or leakage under nominal system pressures when secured with standard industrial hose clamps.
