The threaded adaptor Rp PVC-U with stainless steel reinforcing ring, manufactured by Georg Fischer, is engineered for reliable mechanical transitions between metric solvent cement piping and parallel male threaded components. Featuring a metric solvent socket at one end and an ISO 7-1 / EN 10226-1 parallel female thread (Rp) at the other, this fitting provides a secure interface for connecting threaded valves, instrumentation, pumps, and metal pipework directly into industrial piping networks. The external stainless steel ring reinforces the thermoplastic female socket against hoop stress, significantly mitigating the risk of radial splitting caused by thread tapering, thermal expansion fluctuations, or mechanical overtightening during assembly.

Manufactured from high-grade unplasticised polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) in dark grey (RAL 7011), the adaptor conforms to EN ISO 1452-3 industrial standards and exhibits superior chemical resistance against inorganic acids, alkalis, and saline solutions.
